Every year, the European Research Council invites proposals for a “Proof of Concept” (POC). The competition is open to successful ERC grantees who previously secured a Starting Grant, a Consolidator Grant and/or an Advanced Grant.
The programme aims to develop the insights gained during the ERC grant programmes into commercial or social applications and to assist the ERC grantees as they negotiate the demands of research work and marketable innovation.
