We are happy to supervise theses in the field of older German language and literature at the Bachelor (Gebert, Kunkel) and Master (Gebert) level.
Please contact possible supervisors as early as possible in order to prepare the final examination together. For this purpose, you should clarify possible supervision capacities by e-mail one semester before registering the thesis and agree on the topic of your thesis in a consultation hour at the beginning of the semester in which the thesis is to be registered. Please also prepare a written exposé (1-2 pages) in which you develop your topic idea (especially objective, text corpus, rough outline).
We recommend that you attend the Forschungskolloquium der germanistischen Mediävistik (see the university calendar for instructions), where you can present and discuss your ideas.
