A project on Allegorical Infrastructures is being developed as part of an interdisciplinary research initiative of the Centre for Cultural Inquiry to explore the cultural dimensions of infrastructure.

Serious Gaming, or: Taking Gaming Seriously (SFB Initiative)
With a subproject on forms of habitualization and transgression of rules in literary cultures of the Middle Ages, the professorship is part of a DFG-SFB initative on the phenomenon of Serious Gaming, that focusses on the intertwining of play and work in the study of (historical) cultural practices.
