The Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero (UNTREF) was founded in Buenos Aires in 1995 with the motto “public and dynamic” and a strong concept of internationalization. With about 10,000 students currently enrolled, it is a small university with an excellent student  faculty ratio that offers numerous graduate programs to international students, including history, political theory, cultural diversity, and migration research. With its own museum and numerous exhibitions, UNTREF also has a strong artistic and cultural focus. The University of Konstanz has particularly close research ties with the renowned Centro de Estudios sobre Genocidio (CEG) that is housed at the university.
